Altar Guild

The Altar Guild is a group of women who prepare for all worship services. They tend to the furnishings of the altar and sanctuary and prepare for Holy Eucharist, morning and evening prayer, weddings, funerals, and other events. Responsibilities include purchasing and caring of vestments and linens, arranging for flowers, replenishing the supply of wafers, wine, and candles, and caring for the required vessels and appropriate seasonal hangings. Their work is a thank offering of time and many talents, a ministry of love undertaken in the name of Christ.

Choir

St. Peter's Church choir donates their time and talent for musical leadership of worship, under the leadership of our choir director and accompanied by our organist. The choir regularly rehearses on Wednesday evenings and between Sunday morning services. The music is chosen by the choir director to enhance the worship service, considering the readings, the liturgical year, the makeup of the choir, and the demographics of the congregation.

Acolytes

Acolytes assist with the worship service. Service as an acolyte is open to anyone age eight or older.
